21 Savage Speaks on His Past Beef With Parody Rapper 22 Savage

21 Savage says he has no issue with the man behind 22 Savage.
During a recent appearance on My Expert Opinion, 21 addressed his brief feud with the parody rapper back in 2016. 21 said he was initially cool with 22, but became agitated by his self-aggrandizing comments and jabs.
“I used to like his shit, but it just went left. I was like, ‘What the fuck?’” 21 recalled. “… He was trying to go at me too, and I was like, ‘Ah hell naw, bruh.’”
The drama seemingly began in early October 2016, when 22—created by comedian Mighty Mike—told Say Cheese that he considered himself to be “better” than 21. He also said he didn’t care whether the Issa Album rapper had any issues with his rap alias.
“He ain’t got to like it, you know what I’m sayin’? It is what it is,” 22 said. “He makes some decent music, you know. But it is what it is … I’m way better than 21 Savage.”
Days after the interview was posted, 21 shared a tweet that was clearly directed at 22.
21 shed more light on the back-and-forth during the MEO episode.
“I ain’t say no gangsta shit. I think I said some shit like, ‘How you gon’ beef with me and you tryin’ to be me?’” he recalled.
The host then asked 21 if he was the one who convinced Mighty Mike to drop the 22 Savage act.
“I think he did that on his own, really. I ain’t never asked him to stop,” 21 said. “He DM’d me back then and apologized, though. Not on some pussy shit, on some man shit.”

He also addressed his Clubhouse drama with Wack 100, being abandoned by his father, Pop Smoke’s legacy, and the Migos breakup rumors. Check out those clips below.
