5 Cops Fired, 3 Suspended for Alleged Sexual Escapades Within Department

Written by on January 10, 2023

Five officers from the La Vergne Police Department in Tennessee have been fired for their alleged involvement in a slew of intimate relationships and sexual escapades. Another three cops were suspended.

As reported by WTVF, an internal investigation alleges officer Maegan Hall “engaged in a sexual relationship” with fellow officers Patrick Magliocco, Larry Holladay, Juan Lugo-Perez, Sgt. Lewis Powell, Sgt. Ty McGowan, and Det. Seneca Shields. The probe alleges that these instances took place at hotels, on a boat, and during parties hosted by one of the officers.

Hall allegedly “engaged in a sexual relationship” with McGowan and Shields “while on duty and inside city-owned property” on several occasions. Hall allegedly performed oral sex on both men at the police station. She also allegedly exchanged explicit photos with Holladay, Magliocco, McGowan, Shields, and officer Gavin Schoeberl.

According to WSMV, La Vergne mayor Jason Cole launched an investigation on Dec. 12 after receiving a tip about Hall not only being intimately involved with a few of her co-workers, but also having a threesome with Magliocco and his wife.

Magliocco and Shields, along with witness Lt. David Durham, admitted to being aware of the sexual relationships and shared explicit photos. Magliocco confessed to having sex with Hall on “numerous occasions,” claiming he saw her kissing Holladay once while watching football at a party. Magliocco also observed Hall kissing his wife after allegedly learning that she was in an open marriage.

Magliocco claims Powell cut ties with Hall amid concerns of his wife finding out, or losing his job. Shields has denied any sexual relations with Hall.

Hall, Lugo-Perez, McGowan, Powell, and Shields were terminated. Holladay, Magliocco, and Schoeberl were suspended.
