6ix9ine Delivers Sophomore Album ‘TattleTales’

Written by on September 4, 2020

One of hip-hop’s most polarizing figures is back with new music.

At midnight Friday, 6ix9ine rolled out his sophomore studio album TattleTales, marking his first full-length project since his prison release back in April. The Brooklyn rapper confirmed the drop in an Instagram video shot in Chicago last month.

“We just landed in Chicago and all that,” he said. “Yo, I got a huge announcement for y’all. I’m dropping the album Sept. 4. TattleTales, the album. I think the killers, the hitters, is over here. Try to keep it down … Let’s pay respect to all the soldiers.”

The 13-track project follows a handful of post-prison releases from 6ix9ine, including “GOOBA,” “Punani,” “YAYA,” and “TROLLZ” featuring Nicki Minaj. In conjunction with the album’s release, 6ix9ine came through with the official video for “TUTU,” co-starring Blac Chyna.

You can check out the visual above and listen to TattleTales now on all major platforms.

TattleTales hit streaming services on the same night as Lil Durk’s “The Voice” track. The rappers’ reignited their beef less than a week ago, claiming they were each offered millions to continue their feud as a publicity stunt. 6ix9ine said Durk’s camp wanted to pay him $5 million to troll the Chicago-bred artist, and Durk claimed 6ix9ine’s team proposed a $3 million offer.
