6lack and Khalid Muse About Love and Relationships in “Seasons” Video

6lack has released the video for his song “Seasons,” featuring Khalid. In the summery visual, we see how the dynamic between pairs of people—friends, couples, children and parents—play out, illustrating the song’s themes of love and relationships.
“Seasons” appeared on 6lack’s 2018 sophomore album East Atlanta Love Letter. In his interview with Complex, the singer said of the album, “I would say that it’s [directed at loved ones past and present]. It’s definitely my best way of communicating some of my most recent thoughts. It’s also just to open a conversation for other people to be able to decipher what’s going on in their lives and what they might need to talk about and clear up or fix.”
