Premiere: Betical Unveil The Soulful Futurism Of Driving Techno Cut “Stranger”

French electronic duo Betical are currently heading towards the launch of their first EP, Surrender. In the preamble to that, they’re today releasing a single from the project called “Strangers”. A driving piece of club music, “Strangers” balances beautifully soulful singing with pulsing, futuristic synths and a driving rhythm. Despite its eye on the future — there’s also a conspicuous influence of the past — from the ’80s electro textures to the room-filling vocals, giving us a track that builds on the classics while looking forward to what’s yet to come.
