One of These Days is back with another round of Americana-infused gear.
On Friday, the Los Angeles-based brand—created by multimedia artist Matt McCormick—released its Texas Flood capsule collection, inspired by Stevie Ray Vaughn’s seminal album of the same name. The range includes a grip of graphic tees, crew neck sweatshirts, pullover hoodies, a short-sleeve button-up, and a couple of sweatpants, all of which feature text and imagery that nods to the 1983 project and the American West.
The OOTD team said their goal was to create a collection that reflected the current moment while also embracing classic themes that resonated among multiple generations.
“It has always been a goal of the brand to create timeless garments that are exclusively ours and carry out our vision to the final stitch,” the brand said in a statement. “We have spent the last year developing our own Cut & Sew blanks as well as a wide variety of pieces that we are really excited to debut in our following Fa ll/Winter collection. It has definitely been a learning curve but one that we are really proud to present.”
