‘No Skips With Jinx and Shea’ Launches Season 2 With 2Pac Episode, Playlist

Spotify and the Ringer joined forces for No Skips With Jinx and Shea earlier this year, and now the music show has returned.

Hosted by Shea Serrano and Brandon “Jinx” Jenkins, the show focuses on a different album each episode with a deep dive on rap records considered to be classic. Discussing everything from the production that went into to the record and its lyrical content, to its impact, Shea and Jinx offer a thorough discussion for each release they tackle.

The first episode of Volume 2 focuses on 2Pac’s All Eyez on Me, the last full-length he dropped during his lifetime. New episodes are scheduled to arrive each Thursday, with future episodes covering Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy and UGK’s Ridin’ Dirty. 

As with previous episodes, the hosts discuss who has the best guest verse on the record, which is stacked with appearances from Snoop Dogg and Method Man, among others. 

“There are few things I enjoy talking about more than rap albums I love. It’s always just such a fun, engaging conversation,” said Serrano upon announcing the show earlier this year. “Because even when you’re talking to someone who loves something you also love—like how Jinx and I love the albums we’ve chosen for No Skips—the other person often loves it in different ways and for different reasons.”
