Marie Grover turns 102 today, and Dwayne Johnson wouldn’t miss it for the world.

“This is one of the most special videos I will do all year. Probably one of the most special videos I will do in my entire lifetime. This special lady turns 102 years old today,” Johnson said, before singing “Happy Birthday” to Grandma Grover.

Johnson’s tweet alludes to his ongoing tradition with Grandma Grover, which started with a shot-in-the-dark message to the actor to try and do something special for her 100th birthday. A pleasantly surprised Grover received a personalized video message from Johnson, and a rendition of “Happy Birthday.”

Grover received a handwritten card from Johnson for her 101st birthday, along with two bottles of his tequila brand, Teremana. “Remember to SIP the Mana, grandma and it’s not time to do shots,” the Jumanji star wrote on Instagram. “Happiest of birthdays – what an amazing and blessed life.”

Johnson has mentioned the passing of his own grandmother twice in these celebrations of Grover turning another year older. Ofelia Fuataga Maivia passed in 2008 at the age of 77.

In his interview for People’s “Sexiest Man Alive” in 2016, Johnson revealed he had four goals written on a piece of paper, which included helping his grandmother who was homeless and spent over a year living with another family. While his professional football career didn’t work out as he had hoped, Johnson’s successful transition to wrestling and eventually acting helped him cross off everything he wished to accomplish.

“When I look at that, I keep that as a great reminder,” he said of the note which he now keeps framed. “And not only that, but we talked about failures: I did graduate, didn’t make it into the NFL, fixed my grandmother’s situation.”
