Meek Mill made his seventh appearance in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 with his fifth studio album Expensive Pain

Expensive Pain finished third in its debut week after amassing 95,000 equivalent album units, of which 10,000 consisted of album sales, while 82,000 were made up of SEA units, equaling 110.53 million on-demand streams of the project’s songs, Billboard reports. Meek’s latest offering came within sales projections, but falls well short of 2018’s Championships, which took the top spot with a staggering 229,000 units moved.

Despite a solid debut performance on the Billboard 200, Drake’s Certified Lover Boy maintained its stronghold on the charts, coming in second in as many weeks with 110,000 equivalent album units. CLB was once again unable to regain the throne following a historical leap up the charts by Taylor Swift’s re-recorded project, Fearless (Taylor’s Version)

Fearless (Taylor’s Version) soared from No. 157 last week to No. 1, marking its first appearance atop the Billboard 200 in nearly six months. It’s the biggest jump to the top spot in over two decades, when The Notorious B.I.G.’s Life After Death went from No. 176 to No. 1 in 1997.

The jump is largely credited to the release of signed CDs made exclusively available on her website earlier this month. Taylor jokingly said she autographed so many copies that she “may never write the same again.”

Earlier this year, Swift’s Evermore was propelled by the largest sales week for a vinyl release, which came out more than five months after pre-orders were made available.
