Jada Pinkett Smith is, once again, getting candid about her decades-long relationship with Will Smith.
In the latest episode of Red Table Talk, the 50-year-old host opened up about the “pitfall” she tries to avoid to ensure she and Will have a healthy sex life. Jada and her mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, spoke to guest Gwyneth Paltrow about the difficulties they’ve faced when it comes to physical intimacy, specifically the “uncomfortable” conversations surrounding fantasies.
“It’s hard,” Jada said at the 14:18 mark. “I mean, the thing Will and I talk about a lot is the journey. We started in this at a very young age, you know, 22 years old. That’s why the accountability part really hit for me, because I think you expect your partner to know [your needs], especially when it comes to sex. It’s like, ‘Well, if you love me, you should know. If you love me, you should read my mind.’ That’s a huge pitfall.”
