Amber Rose Comments on Resurfaced Tweet About Kardrashians and Kanye West

Written by on January 17, 2022

Amber Rose is done with the negativity—and she took to her Instagram Sunday to make sure fans were clear on that.

After DJ Akademiks posted a screenshot of an old tweet from Rose, where she called the Kardashians the “Kartrashians” during a Twitter spat with the artist formerly known as Kanye West in 2016, Rose let her followers know how much she’s grown since.

“Man fuck that old ass tweet,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories. “I never got an apology for his ’30 showers’ comment but fuck it. I started my Slutwalk and helped millions of women around the world stand up for themselves against slut shaming so something amazing came out of it.”

The model and activist continued, sharing that “Kim nor her sisters deserved that tweet and y’all shouldn’t co-sign it either.”

“Shit was old and immature of me to involve the KarDASHians in the mess HE made,” Rose added. “Moving forward learn from my mistakes. We all have kids and family’s life is hard enough right now for a lot of ppl. I just want to spread love and positivity.”

Rose’s frustration with Ye came after he said on The Breakfast Club that he had to take “30 showers to get with Kim” after dating Rose for two years. On Sunday, Rose shared images from her Slutwalk event, where she and her mother can be seen holding signs that read “Fuck yo 30 showers” and “Strippers have feelings too.”

“We’re speaking up and we’re not scared just because these men are in higher positions or they have more money or they intimidate us,” Rose told BAZAAR.com of her SlutWalk event in 2018. “We have a voice and we all realize now that’s why SlutWalk is so important—to bring an awareness of actually what’s happening in this world. It’s the equality issues that we deal with, but also the fact that, we can band together as women and stand up for each other and realize that we do have a voice that can make a change.”
