Dior gave the world a virtual front-row seat to the unveiling of the Winter 2022/2023 men’s show on Friday.
Ahead of Friday’s show, which is being streamed live from Paris, Dior shared teases of the impending experience featuring models Nonso David and Thatcher Royce. For David, Friday’s show marks a Paris debut.
“I am sooo excited!!!” David, who previously walked in a Prada show, said in an IG post shared mere hours before the livestream kicked off. “Still feels like a dream and I’m definitely living in it.”
Up top, watch the Dior Winter 2022/2023 men’s show by Kim Jones, live from Paris.
Earlier this month, Dior shared a closer look at its Vibe capsule, which was previously teased as part of the Cruise 2022 show by creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri. A previously announced collaboration between men’s artistic director Kim Jones and Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack label, meanwhile, has been indefinitely postponed following last year’s Astroworld tragedy.
In a statement shared with Women’s Wear Daily last month, a Dior rep said the decision to postpone the formal launch of the highly anticipated collaborative pieces was made “out of respect for everyone affected” by the festival tragedy. A source familiar with the Dior situation later told Complex that the move marked a “mutual decision made by both Dior and Travis Scott to postpone the upcoming collection due in Jan ‘22 with both parties working to reschedule the launch at a later date.”
