3 Men Arrested After YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s Texas Home Raided by SWAT

Written by on January 27, 2022

Texas authorities say they’ve arrested three associates of YoungBoy Never Broke Again.

Officials tell TMZ the arrests took place Tuesday after a SWAT team raided the rapper’s Harris County home. The sheriff’s office says law enforcement had executed a warrant in connection to the shooting of a 20-year-old man back in November. SWAT members reportedly seized multiple weapons during the raid, including AR-15s and a number of pistols. They then took three men—Roymellow Williams, Daryl Brown, and Carleon Gallien—into custody. They were subsequently booked on multiple charges, such as aggravated robbery and aggravated assault.

Authorities tell TMZ that YoungBoy—legal name Kentrell DeSean Gaulden—owns the property and his mother, Sherhonda Gaulden, lives there. Authorities have not confirmed whether the rapper’s mom was home at the time of the raid.

YoungBoy is now under house arrest in Utah as he awaits trial for weapons-related charges. The 22-year-old artist was released from jail back in October after posting $500,000 bond. Since then, YoungBoy released his 17th mixtape, Colors, with contributions from Quando Rondo and Internet Money.

Shortly after the tape’s release, producer Jason “Cheese” Goldberg announced YoungBoy would be taking a break from music.

“PSA: A select few songs probably (maybe) will drop from now until then but Top will not be seen or heard from into his album approximately #6months from now,” Goldberg wrote on Instagram. “We have some amazing songs for you thank you for everything #HealingTime #RockPeace #ForeverBro.”
