NLE Choppa Releases ‘Me vs. Me’ Project f/ Young Thug, Polo G, and More

NLE Choppa feels like a new man and is ready to vanquish all of his demons with the arrival of his latest project, Me vs. Me, which comes fitted with features from Young Thug, Polo G, Moneybagg Yo, and more.
Ahead of the release of the project, Choppa tagged fellow Memphis heavyweight Moneybagg Yo to join him on their first song together, “Too Hot,” which came with equally smoldering visuals. Me vs. Me also comes with visuals for “Shotta Flow 6.”
NLE Choppa is not the same artist he was when he entered the rap game at the young age of 16. The massive success of his song “Shotta Flow” in 2019 catapulted Choppa into mainstream appeal, and from there the young Memphis rapper kept the momentum by dropping equally energic tracks like “Camalot” that came with an inspired video from none other than Cole Bennett and Lyrical Lemonade.
Now, Choppa has grown in the industry, went on a brief hiatus from rapping to focus more on his health and herbalism, and is back to deliver the high-energy bars that put him in the position he is today. Me vs. Me is exactly what the title implies, a conversation with self and using music as the language. Club-centric tracks like “Shotta Flow 6” are quickly sobered with Choppa’s moments of self-reflection in moments like “Change My Ways,” making Me vs. Me a mix of all the young rapper’s innermost thoughts, wishes, and demons.
