Shaq, Meek Mill, Lil Baby, Others Attend Michael Rubin’s Power Brunch

As the football world awaits the big game Sunday, celebrities are flocking to Los Angeles.
Several entertainers, pro athletes, and beyond were spotted in Beverly Hills on Friday, two days in advance of this year’s Super Bowl. Shaquille O’Neal, Kevin Hart, Lil Baby, Meek Mill, Alex Rodriguez, Steve Aoki, and J Balvin were among the familiar faces all seen outside of Spago for Michael Rubin’s power brunch before the weekend kicked off.
In a video shared by TMZ, Shaq is asked—in the scenario that he were playing in the game—if he’d let his teammates watch the halftime show, to which he says “of course.” But while Shaq isn’t known for any skills on the football field, he’ll likely still be watching on as the Los Angeles Rams take on the Cincinnati Bengals for the title at the end of the week.
And the halftime show Shaq speaks of will surely be one to remember, as Dr. Dre is joined by Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, and Snoop Dogg—who just this week was revealed to have purchased a label near and dear to his heart in Death Row Records—for an explosive, career-spanning performance.
“I am thrilled and appreciative of the opportunity to acquire the iconic and culturally significant Death Row Records brand, which has immense untapped future value,” Snoop said. “It feels good to have ownership of the label I was part of at the beginning of my career and as one of the founding members. This is an extremely meaningful moment for me. I would like to personally thank the teams at Blackstone, MNRK and especially David Kestnbaum, who worked collaboratively with me over several months to make this exciting homecoming a reality. I’m looking forward to building the next chapter of Death Row Records.”
