YoungBoy Never Broke Gain Shares New Song “Opposite,” Teases ‘Realer 2’

Less than a month after the release of his mixtape Colors, YoungBoy Never Broke Again has continued his prolific run by dropping a handful of songs on his official YouTube channel.
Fresh off sharing “Mr. Grim Reaper,” “Free Meechy,” “Whatever I Say,” and “SuperBowl,” YoungBoy returned with his latest effort, “Opposite.”
The YouTube description for the new song teases the release of the sequel to his 2018 mixtape Realer. “Ha ha ……should I drop realer 2 tomorrow???” he wrote.
The potential release arrives just a month after YoungBoy’s producer Jason “Cheese” Goldberg took to Instagram to announce that the Baton Rouge rapper would be taking a long-deserved break before he returns with his next full-length offering.
“PSA: A select few songs probably (maybe) will drop from now until then but Top will not be seen or heard from into his album approximately #6months from now,” Goldberg wrote on Instagram. “We have some amazing songs for you thank you for everything #HealingTime #RockPeace #ForeverBro.”
Granted, there’s no denying that YoungBoy deserves a break.
Since the start of 2020, the 22-year-old has dropped two official albums (Top and Sincerely, Kentrell), four commercial mixtapes (Still Flexin, Still Steppin, 38 Baby 2, Until I Return, and Colors), two collaborative projects (Nobody Safe with Rich the Kid and From the Bayou with Birdman), and two compilation albums (Ain’t Too Long 2 and Never Broke Again: The Compilation Vol. 1).
