Adsum’s ‘Classics’ Collection Remixes Everyday Essentials

Founded in New York in 2015 by Peter Macnee, you could say that Adsum is relatively new to the streetwear scene – but that doesn’t mean that the Brooklyn-based label doesn’t know its stuff.
After various stints at Bottega Veneta and Billionaire Boys Club, Macnee launched the brand after building up production and manufacturing connections he had built up over time in New York. This process would birth Adsum, a word which means “Here” or “I Am Present” in Latin.
Drawing the line between classic outdoor apparel and sportswear with styles mixing between the two, Adsum has garnered a loyal following from streetwear enthusiasts. Taking its inspiration from cities and the countryside of the American Northeast, the label’s high-quality manufacturing and designs have resulted in a well-received rollout of unique interpretation over the years.
Now for its latest release, Adsum continues to reimagine traditional menswear archetypes. The Classics collection—which houses an array of seasonal essentials—is presented in colourways first introduced in the brand’s previous Spring collection, while shades that are set to be used later this year, are also previewed.
Hoodies, crewnecks, snap front sweaters and tees are reintroduced once more, alongside signature Adsum pieces like Bank Pants and overdyed logo hats, which made their debut in the brand’s early days.
As always, comfort remained a high priority for Adsum. With this in mind, the imprint brings back their classic sweatpants—which feature a large side panel rib, elastic drawstring waist and interior stash pocket—which are served up in “Golden Moss”, “Lemongrass”, “Ash Heather Grey” and “Dark Navy” colourways.
