Ahead of the release of his first project since signing to Young Stoner Life Records, T-Shyne returns with a music video for his new single, “Top 5.”
Arriving on the heels of previously released singles “30 For 30” and “Feed the Fam,” T-Shyne’s latest track is the first offering from his forthcoming mixtape Confetti Nights. Due out April 1, the project, which marks his first full-length offering since joining YSL, will be executive produced by Young Thug and Kevin Durant.
“Top 5 is about being a champion, being at the top of your game and beating the odds,” T-Shyne explained in a press release. “When it comes to my music, I want every song to be the best and to be pure. I want to be in everyone’s top 5 when I reach that level.”
Confetti Nights serves as the official follow-up to the New York rapper’s 2018 debut, The Immaculate.
Since signing with YSL in 2020, T-Shyne has continued his momentum on the strength of a string of collaborations with Young Thug, including 2020’s “Moncler.” Last year, he delivered guest spots on a pair of Slime Language 2 tracks, “That Go!” and “Warrior.” The rising rapper also appeared on Thug’s 2021 album Punk, contributing a guest verse to “Stressed.”
