Cardi’s performance was entertaining… I don’t think it should be number one. I’d give that spot to Carrie Underwood because she captivated the entire room by just standing there and singing. Mariah would be second. Ciara was ok to me. She didn’t really do anything we haven’t seen before. 🤷🏽♂️ she barely Sang and jumped around the stage the entire time. Just not my thing. The rest of the performances were forgettable. I did like twenty one pilots and the Aretha tribute though. So they’d be 4-5.

People defending Mimi, should know by now that people do not want singers who sing, they want singers with gimmicks, like riding a bike, falling from the roof, dangling from the ceiling. The voice is not the main attraction anymore; the ears is not the main thing "singers" try to satisfy – It's the eyes. People want "singers" who twerks, who splits, who have fireworks and other things going on the stage. Its sad but it's the generation today. Lyrics are not now considered important, what's important is the tempo, the beat, if it's catchy or not, regardless the fact that all the songs words' were either "work" or "butt" or "twerk"
