First Week Projections for Fivio Foreign, 42 Dugg x EST Gee’s New Projects

Written by on April 13, 2022

Fivio Foreign’s latest project is headed for a top-10 debut.

According to early projections shared by HitsDailyDouble, the Brooklyn rapper’s B.I.B.L.E is expected to sell 29,000 units in its first week. The figure would put Fivio at the No. 10 spot on U.S. charts, a respectable position for the MC’s debut effort.

B.I.B.L.E, which arrived nearly two years after Fivio’s 2020 EP 800 B.C., delivered 17 tracks, including the singles “Magic City” with Quavo and “City of Gods” featuring Kanye West and Alicia Keys. In a recent interview with Complex, Fivio shed more light on the years-long recording process as well as the meaning behind the album’s title.

“Naming the album B.I.B.L.E. was like a metaphor. The Bible consists of a whole bunch of stories from people—huge stories—and things that happened,” he explained. “When you read it at some points in life, you can learn from it and deal with your life through the Bible. I feel like my [album] is kind of like that. It’s a whole bunch of stories in my life. People can relate to it, and there’s a lot of motivational shit to take from my life […] I feel like I’ve been working on this album my whole life.”

42 Dugg and EST Gee’s joint project, Last Ones Left, is on track to trail B.I.B.L.E. by 3,000 units, putting it at the No. 11 slot. Just like the Fivio release, the collaborative effort spans 17 tracks and includes a number of guest appearances by EST Zo, Tae Money, and 42 Cheez. Last Ones Left arrived on the heels of the rappers’ last full-length projects: 42 Dugg’s Free Dem Boyz and EST Gees’ Bigger Than Life or Death, Pt. 2.

According to HDD, there are a handful of projects fighting for the No. 1 spot on next week’s chart. Lil Durk’s 7220 is expected to take the lead with 46,000 units; however the Encanto soundtrack is just 2,000 units behind, while Morgan Wallen’s Dangerous: The Double Album, Jack White’s Fear of the Dawn, and Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour are projected to move 43,000 units.
