C.P. Company Debuts Innovative Materials for Spring/Summer 2022

Massimo Osti’s cult-imprint C.P. Company continues its exploration of fabrics and processing with a two-part collection for Spring/Summer 2022.
Titled Tracery, the first series is created via a new sublimation printing process led by C.P. Company, which sees films of colour transferred onto the brand’s weatherproof Memri fabrics through a combination of heat, pressure and time. In addition, the same process has also been used across pre-sewn garments, resulting in a “mysterious shadow” akin to a unique camouflage print.
The second GORE-TEX Infinium Mixed collection is a collaborative project between W.L Gore & Associates and GORE-TEX Infinium. For this capsule, water-resistant Infinium fabrics are mixed with LCM (Light Chrome-Membrane) materials, to create semi-finished garments which are dyed before construction.
Standouts include C.P Company’s Medium Jacket, which has been reimagined with the new materials and features a fully adjustable hood and hidden pockets and the La Mille Jacket which takes inspiration from the anti-gas army jackets developed by the brand in 1988.
