Lil Nas X, SZA, Kacey Musgraves, More to Headline 2022 Austin City Limits

Everything is bigger in Texas, which makes sense given this year’s Austin City Limits lineup.
This year’s festival—taking place from Oct. 7-9 and Oct. 14-16 at Zilker Park in Austin—boasts a wide range of headliners, including Lil Nas X, SZA, Flume, Kacey Musgraves, Paramore, the Chicks, Pink, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
The roster also features Lil Durk, Jazmine Sullivan, Bia, Lucky Daye, Omar Apollo, Sabrina Claudio, PinkPantheress, Teezo Touchdown, and plenty more, the fest announced Tuesday.
The event’s three-day tickets go on sale Tuesday at 12 p.m CT and start at $295.
In 2021, headliners for ACL included Billie Eilish, Stevie Nicks, DaBaby, Erykah Badu, Rufus Du Sol, and Miley Cyrus, while additional performances from Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, Machine Gun Kelly, Jack Harlow, and more topped off the fest. It was at that stage where Eilish blasted a then-new law in the state, which effectively banned all abortions after 6 weeks of pregnancy.
“When they made that shit a law, I almost didn’t want to do the show, because I wanted to punish this fucking place for allowing that to happen here, but then I remembered that it’s you guys that are the fucking victims,” the pop superstar said. “And you deserve everything in the world.”
As for this year’s headliners, ACL appears to be Lil Nas’ first major headlining show at a festival of this size, and Nas X will be hitting the road right before for his first-ever headlining tour, too. The “Long Live Montero Tour” features 21 dates across the U.S. and beyond, as the internet-dominating musician also takes the show to Germany, the U.K., and Spain.
