The first week numbers for Bad Bunny’s new album Un Verano Sin Ti and Jack Harlow’s Come Home the Kids Miss You are here.
Bad Bunny met expectations by topping the charts, after it was initially anticipated last week that he would reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The album moved 274,000 equivalent album units, Billboard reports. Of the 274,000, 261,000 are from SEA units, 12,000 from album sales, and 1,000 from TEA units. It’s the Puerto Rican artist’s second chart-topping album of his career, his best sales week ever, and the year’s biggest week for any album release. It’s also the second all-Spanish-language album to hit the chart’s top spot.
Harlow came in third, earning 113,000 equivalent album units, making the offering the highest-charting album of his career. His totals are made of 103,000 SEA units, 8,000 album sales, and 2,000 TEA units. He earned his second No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 with the album “First Class,” following his 2021 Lil Nas X collaboration “Industry Baby.” Harlow’s album included features from Pharrell, Drake, Justin Timberlake, and Lil Wayne, as well as the previously-released single “Nail Tech.”
“I fuck with it,” Harlow previously told Rolling Stone of his fanbase, which largely consists of women. “To be able to make a song that women like is what it’s all about for me. There’s a lot of things it’s all about, but that’s a huge one. That’s really what you want, to make something that your crush wants to hear.”
