The video is showing you how mediocre some white creations really are by putting a black face on it. We're held to such a higher standard in entertainment, politics and life in general that whenever we do what they do it just doesn't look right at all.

All this Racism behind keyboards and art.. the battle for minds. JayZ can only say these things in the hopes that B&W people in this country finally may have a positive symbiotic relationships through the finance. Friends and living single were two different shows. Black actors shouldnt settle for remakes. White actors shouldnt make action movies past their prime. LOTS OF THAT HAPPENING too. I had to edit this cause I was like… Black friends.. I know its a spoof but its REALLY GOOD. Jay.. did you pay the actors to finish the episode? Can I stream the rest of this.. Im Woke n shh.. I just like theatre 🎥 and those are epic actors.

For one, I do not appreciate you recognizing my girl Tiffany Haddish. You specifically named the whole cast except her. Come on y'all get with it- #SheReady !! Yeah don't do her, that's my new friend and idol now! 👊👊🦄

They aren't making fun of white ppl or the original cast. What is the problem? U see how in detail he went to recapture the show? I bet he watched Friends a lot and is a fan. I've remixed the Golden Girls intro so many times. Lighten up and stop trying to pick a fight where there isn't one.

I got my popcorn ready while I view all these "cultural appropriation doesn't exist (until it affects us)" white people up in arms in the comment section. Friends is a ripoff Living Single btw 🍿

Judging by some of the comments I don't whether to blame Billboard for deliberate missing out the context of this video, to feel bad about the lack of critical thinking skills that people seem to possess to be able to put two and two together or just pity those who insist on being ignorant.

It would be nice if the show and presenter took enough time to learn the correct pronunciation of currently the most known of the people in the skit. After all he does have a self named show (although cancelled after this season) with character also of the same name. So difficult to get right.

It's so sad that black people feel like they have to recreate friends just so there are blacks in it. I understand that this is about equality and not to be judged by superficial values but I don't really understand why they have to copy another show for that. It would make so much more sense to create a whole new show with both blacks and whites, heterosexuals and homosexuals and so on. But doesn't this video more fulfill the (totally wrong!) prejudice that black people would only copy what whites have made?

Billboard, did you purposely leave out the whole context of the video? The host seems so excited that it has something to do with "Friends", that she fails to notice the entire objective of the art. She only mentions that the Oscar's audio was meant to "make a statement". A statement about what? The uninitiated viwer would not be able to tell that he's making a thinly veiled reference to how people of the world love black art but will rarely give the people that create it the respect they deserve

Here are some things black people invented that white people like to use but don't give us credit for:
    The dust pan
    Refrigerator
    Traffic lights
    Automatic elevator doors
    Super soaker
    Sprinkler
    Lawn mower
    Potato chips
    Home security systems
    Furnace
    Dryer
    Automatic gearshift
    Pacemakers
    Mailbox
    3-D

This was not needed… Why are black ppl always jealous if what white people do and accomplish.. For someone who is very talented and fresh with ideas this one was pretty stale asf!!he just took someone else's ideas and used them. Not for it
