Kodak Black has had a big year, dropping his fourth studio album Back for Everything in February, then showing up as a prominent guest on Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers in May.
After dropping his latest solo offering “Haitian Scarface” in August, the South Florida rapper returns with two new tracks, “Walk” and “Spin.” Both are produced by Tye Beats, and the former arrives with a video directed by KillerJack.
“I fuck all my bitches the same/Turned in the jet for a Range/I did the dash like Dame/She see my wrist, it say dang/Audemars fresh out the pen/Walk and whip and walk around the kitchen with the pot right in my hand,” Kodak raps on the boastful “Walk.”
Back for Everything debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 in March, giving Kodak his fourth top 10 album on the chart, following 2017’s Painting Pictures and Project Baby 2, plus 2018’s Dying to Live.
Kodak has continued his momentum by delivering scene-stealing guest spots for several artists, including NoCap (“Save the Day”), Kendrick (“Silent Hill”), Hotboii (“Live Life Die Faster”), and DJ Khaled (“It Ain’t Safe”).
