A-COLD-WALL* Drops Technicoloured Modular Wardrobe For Pre-Spring 2023
Written by SOURCE on January 10, 2023
Samuel Ross’ A-COLD-WALL* has just dropped its Pre-Spring 2023 collection, centred around four systematic visual narratives of Considered, Eclipse, Uniform, and Conditioned.
Served in a technicoloured colour palette, the seasonal delivery explores the label’s design codes while debuting new fabrications, experimental print techniques and distorted motifs.
The collection’s Considered theme is referenced through a calming range of cosy jersey and knitted pieces in blue and green gradients, while hypergraphic prints appear in the form of red and yellow solar flares. Standouts from the capsule include an asymmetric padded gilet vest complete with varying 3D pockets.
Focusing sharply on innovation and technique, the Conditioned range is filled with intricate washes, brush stroke effects and irregular dye finishes. Overshirts and trousers appear in peach-like tactile nylon and enamel rhombus badges, contrasting against merino blend sweaters with geometric prints.
The offering is rounded out by the Uniform series, which combines layering staples—from slides to flagship M65 military jackets—with transitional essentials to create a versatile wardrobe for everyday use.
