Gucci Mane and Kodak Black reunite.
The frequent collaborators dropped their joint track “King Snipe” as well as its official video on Friday. Guwop teased the release on social media, sharing footage of the South Florida rapper jamming out to the recording during a studio session. Gucci also posted some clips of the “King Snipe” visual while confidently declaring the track “another classic.”
“Shit, I love Guwop though—Zuwop, ’cause I’m a big Z, ya heard me?” Kodak says at the top of the cut. “Shoutout to Gucci, I think of my dad.”
The song continues Gucci and Kodak’s long list of collaborations, which include 2016’s “Vibin in This Bih,” 2018’s “Wake Up in the Sky” with Bruno Mars, 2019’s “Big Boy Diamonds,” and 2020’s “I Knew It.” “King Snipe” comes more than a month after Gucci came through with So Icy Boyz: The Finale, a 1017 compilation project that spanned a whopping three hours and 51 minutes with 80 tracks.
In late October, Kodak delivered his fifth studio album Kutthroat Bill: Vol. 1 with contributions from Prince Swanny, NFL Tuewop, Lil Crix, and more. The “I’m So Awesome” rapper is now gearing up to release his next full-length project, which he confirmed during an Instagram Live broadcast with Yungeen Ace.
“I’m just chilling finna drop this album next month,” he said, before naming some of the guest artists. He has yet to announce the album’s official drop date.
