Nike’s plans for women’s Air Max 1 colorways for the second half of this year include a bright “Fuchsia Dream” pair, one inspired by collectible toys, and another done in premium tan materials, according to an internal brand document viewed by Complex.
The women’s “Fuchsia Dream” Air Max 1 (style code DZ2628-001) will be released in Nike’s Fall 2023 line for $140. The shoe is anticipated to arrive between July and September of this year and will be followed by similar women’s styles in “Volt” and “Sand Drift” colorways. The “Fuchsia Dream” Air Max 1 here is a sample, and the final sneaker could look different from what’s shown.
Nike will also release for women a “Tan Lines” Air Max 1 (style code FN7200-224) in its Fall 2023 line for $180, per the brand document. The design, along with a similar women’s Air Force 1, will use gradient tan colors, icy gum soles, and premium materials.
Another upcoming women’s Air Max 1 seen by Complex is the “Sofvi” pair, which is inspired by soft vinyl collectible toys that are popular in Japan, the document says. The shoes will have a colorful upper, chrome Swoosh, glow in the dark accents, and a graphic sockliner referencing an original Air Max 1 poster. The women’s Air Max 1 “Sofvi” is expected to release in Fall 2023 for $160.
Another set of upcoming women’s Air Max 1s, which are not pictured here, are two “LX” releases for Fall 2023 (style codes FD2370-100 and FD2370-110) that use denim uppers and a nonstandard “Nike Air” logo on the tongue.
The release windows and seasons for these upcoming women’s Air Max 1s are all subject to change. Nike hasn’t publicly confirmed when they will come out and many of its shoes have been pushed back in the past two years as a result of supply chain issues.
