Latto Drops Her Latest Single “Lottery” f/ Lu Kala

Latto kicks off the weekend with new music.
Shortly after delivering her “Smoking on My Ex Pack” freestyle, the ATL rapper returned with “Lottery,” a disco-infused single featuring Congolese-Canadian singer Lu Kala. Latto previewed the joint via Instagram last month, when she shared a video of her throwing cash in the studio alongside Cam and model Brooklyn Nikole.
“Pop Latto loading…🍒” she captioned the post.
Fast forward to Feb. 9, when Latto confirmed the track’s official release date.
“Pop Latto has entered the chat,” she wrote, referring once again to her new sound.
Fans and fellow artists immediately praised “Lottery” for his infectious hook and catchy beat. “I smell a HIT,” Doechii wrote. Bxndo commented, “Sounds like a mainstream hit. Sis makin feel good music.”
The song arrives nearly a year after Latto shared her sophomore album 777. The project, which peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard 200, spanned 13 tracks with guest appearances by 21 Savage, Lil Wayne, Child Gambino, Kodak Black, and more. Its lead single “Big Energy” also earned the rapper a Grammy nomination for Best Melodic Rap Performance.
