T.I. Holds Paperwork That Allegedly Disproves Boosie Badazz’ Snitch Claims

T.I. came with the receipts—or so he claims.
During a Friday appearance at Atlanta’s Trap City Cafe, the 42-year-old rapper took some time to call out Boosie Badazz. The two began exchanging shots this week after Boosie announced his decision to scrap his long-awaited album with Tip. Boosie told VladTV he dropped the project after learning T.I. had “snitched” on his late cousin, Toot, in an effort to dodge a gun charge. T.I. went on to deny the allegations and claimed he had “paperwork” to prove he wasn’t a rat.
“I got some paperwork to show them,” T.I. said Friday while holding some documents. “And when you leave up out this muthafucka, please let a muthafucka know that the paperwork was present, and if they wasn’t here, they shouldn’t be saying a muthafuckin’ thing about the king.”
He continued: “I’ve been waiting on one special invited guest to show up, and he ain’t showed up yet. But it was somebody that had something to say about me and had to question my disposition in some of my cases. But he ain’t here to see my paperwork. And I just don’t like for a n***a to get fly then get shy … I’m right here in the center, you hear me? So, come on if you got something to say about me. If you think it is what it ain’t, it ain’t but one way to clear it up. Pull on up, let me show you what you lookin’ for. I wanna see who wanna see it.”
Tip previously shared the paperwork to his Instagram Stories.
Boosie spent his Friday night at the Atlanta Hawks vs. Cleveland Cavaliers game, which he documented on his Instagram account. T.I. jumped in the comments section and questioned why Boosie failed to show up to Trap City Cafe to see his “paperwork.”
Boosie told T.I. he had sent him a text; however, it’s unclear if the two have agreed to meet.
Boosie’s “snitching” allegations stem from a 2020 episode of T.I.’s expediTIously podcast, in which the host recalled an old gun charge involving his cousin Toot.
“We caught those gun cases, Toot died,” T.I. explained. “My lawyer said, ‘Well, you know, I could make everything go away if it was Toot’s … After he had passed, I had a talk with him. Toot said, ‘I’ll take all the charges you got. If you can walk away free and put it on me, goddamn right. ‘Cause I’ll be damned if they gon’ come and muthafuckin extradite me from here.’”
Boosie said the admission “ruined everything,” including their much-anticipated collaborative project.
“I’m like, why the fuck he say that when we got a fucking album about to come out?” Boosie told DJ Vlad. “… I don’t spare no-motherfuckin’-body because if you do anything wrong…and you cooperate with law enforcement to get you out of trouble…that means you’re a rat.”
T.I. has walked back his 2020 claims, and recently admitted they were “embellished.”
“It came from a conversation that my partner and I were having and that conversation was, ‘If me and you catch a case together and I die before you, it’s mine. It’s mine,’” T.I. said. “He’s like, ‘Nah, I can’t do that.’ Yes you can; it’s mine. Why can’t you? I don’t understand it. … He said, ‘Nah, I can’t do it.’ He said, ‘I can’t really say nothing about anybody who do but I can’t do it.’ So off of that conversation, I created a set of circumstances and I thought that the embellishment was clear when I said I talked to my cousin and he told me.”
