Nashville School Shooting: Suspect Dead, Multiple Victims Reported

A suspect is dead following a school shooting in Nashville.
While details on the shooting remained scarce at the time of this writing, it occurred Monday morning at the Covenant School, a private Christian school in the Green Hills area of the city that serves children ranging in age from pre-school to 6th grade. Residents first heard a swarm of sirens, followed shortly after by several helicopters, before official word was provided by local authorities.
When reached for comment by Complex on Monday, a Vanderbilt rep confirmed that three children and two adults who had been taken to the hospital were now dead.
“All five patients have been pronounced dead,” the spokesperson told Complex.

Following the shooting, the Nashville Fire Department established a reunification area at the nearby Woodmont Baptist Church for parents to pick up their children.
