Kodak Black’s Montreal and Toronto Shows Reportedly ‘Unlikely’ After Border Arrest

Written by on April 21, 2019

Kodak Black‘s ongoing Dying to Live Tour is reportedly at risk of facing additional canceled dates in the wake of a recent border arrest.

The tour is currently slated to go international with stops in Montreal and Toronto at the top of next week, though a TMZ report filed Saturday claims both dates are now “in limbo.” The report cites Canada Border Services Agency sources as noting that anyone crossing into the region must meet certain requirements, with “involvement in criminal activity” given as a reason one might be blocked from entry.

Police sources are also cited, reportedly telling the outlet that it’s “unlikely” Kodak will be able to make the shows.

An official statement from Kodak’s team on the status of both shows has not been released.

As previously reported, Kodak had reportedly planned to drive himself from Detroit to Boston earlier in the week, ultimately passing through Canada on the way. He was later arrested at the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge on a criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana charge.

Upon posting bail, Kodak was filmed leaving the Niagara County Jail using an assortment of cash to obstruct reporters’ view of his face.
