Schoolboy Q Releases His Long-Awaited ‘CrasH Talk’ Album

Schoolboy Q’s CrasH Talk album is here.
The TDE rapper was expected to drop the project in 2018, but chose to postpone the release following Mac Miller’s untimely death. Schoolboy reassured fans the project was still on the way, but simply needed more time to process the loss.
“I’m just not ready to walk into the radio station and the first thing they ask me is, ‘So Mac Miller … ’” the rapper said during a performance last fall. “I’m not ready to deal with those questions. So, right now, I’m not ready to put nothing.”
Fast-forward to mid-April, when Schoolboy finally revealed CrasH Talk’s release date, cover art, and star-studded tracklist. Travis Scott, 6lack, Ty Dolla Sign, 21 Savage, Kid Cudi, and Kendrick Lamar (writing) are just of the artist who contributed to the album.
“I always catered to people on all my albums like Oxy and Blank Face,” Schoolboy said on the Breakfast Club. “This album I was just being me, like this is what I’m on. This is how I’m rocking. That’s just what it is.”
CrasH Talk is available now on all streaming platforms.
