PnB Rock showcases his range with his long-awaited sophomore album, TrapStar Turnt PopStar.

The 27-year-old artist released the project Thursday night, after months of sneak peaks and teasers. In June 2018, PnB revealed TrapStar Turnt PopStar would be a double-disc album, and insisted he did not “steal” the idea from Drake, who dropped the two-side Scorpion that same month.

TrapStar Turnt PopStar consists of 18 tracks total—nine on each side. The effort features the previously released tracks “I Like Girls” with Lil Skies, “Go to Mars” with Tee Grizzley, and “Put You On” with A Boogie Wit da Hoodie. Other guest artists include Quavo, Tory Lanez, Diplo, and the late XXXTentacion

PnB spoke about his collaboration with XXX during an interview with Zane Lowe in March 2018, months before the Florida rapper was fatally shot.

“We just had a few sessions where we just vibed out, you know what I’m saying,” PnB Rock revealed. “Me and him, we created beats, we sung over those beats, we made melodies over those beats and then we just critiqued different songs.”

You can stream TrapStar Turnt PopStar on Apple Music/iTunes and via Spotify below.

PnB will also host an album listening session this Saturday in his hometown of Philadelphia.
