Kevin Durant Departs Game Following Non-Contact Leg Injury

Kevin Durant of the Golden State Warriors came down on his leg, inuring himself, after he went for a shot against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night in the 3rd quarter of Game 5.
Durant limped off the court and to the locker room with what many are reporting to be a right calf strain.

The injury was alarming to many, as some initially pointed out that it might have been an Achilles injury. Luckily, that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Durant was able to score 22 points prior to sustaining the injury. The Warriors are currently tied 2-2 with the Rockets in the Western Conference semifinal playoff series.
