Jason Mitchell Dropped From ‘The Chi’ Over Misconduct Allegations

Actor Jason Mitchell has been dropped from UTA, Authentic Talent & Literary Management, Showtime‘s The Chi, and the upcoming Netflix film Desperados over misconduct allegations, Deadline reports.
The Chi, in which Mitchell plays the character Brandon Johnson, was recently picked up for a third season.
Deadline reports that it’s currently unclear what exactly the aforementioned misconduct allegations are. Mitchell previously starred in 2015’s Straight Outta Compton, 2017’s Mudbound, and 2018’s Superfly.
