You have to feel for Albert Almora Jr. He just went to the area of stands where he hit the ball and asked a security guard about the child. He stood here and hugged the security guard and appeared to weep. Wow, really tough scene.

“He rips a line drive down the third-base line and it comes in and it looks like it hits someone hard,” David LeVasseur, a fan who was in attendance for Wednesday night’s game, said, per the Houston Chronicle. “It bounces, comes down and hits the guy to my left off ricochet and the next thing you know it’s at my feet. I pick it up and all we heard was screaming. ” The Chronicle reports that “[t]he baseball had no traces of blood and, according to LeVasseur, there was none near the seat.”
“All we heard was screaming,” LeVasseur continued. “We saw this dad pick up a child and run up the stairs. He took off running.”
