Scottie Pippen Adds 5-Year-Old Girl to Property Damage Lawsuit

Written by on June 1, 2019

Scottie Pippen has added a 5-year-old girl to a lawsuit against former tenants of his Ft. Lauderdale home who he claimed damaged “certain elements of the property” by drawing on the walls.

Pippen filed the suit against comedian Lindsay Glazer and Jacob Woloshin after the couple and their daughter stayed in the home in 2017. The family’s own home was damaged in Hurricane Irma. They reportedly paid $30,000 per month in rent and agreed to keep the house in a showable condition, as the home was on the market.

Pippen alleged in the suit filed late last year that the family caused over $100,000 in damages. He said that the family allowed their animals to “urinate throughout the home, thereby causing permanent stains and unsanitary conditions.” In amending the lawsuit, he added that their daughter damaged the walls by drawing on them with crayons and markers.

“Who would have ever thought that Dennis Rodman would be strengthening relations with North Korea, and Scottie ‘no tippin’ Pippen would be the crazy one suing little girls?” Glazer said in a statement shared by NBC News.

Glazer’s spokesperson added that the family believes the truth will come out in the courtroom.

“Glazer maintains her and her family’s innocence against these frivolous claims and insists she will prevail in court,” her spokesperson shared.

Pippen’s attorney, on the other hand, points out that Pippen believes the family caused significant damage to the property going well beyond wall drawing and carpet-wetting.

“While the damages sought is clearly not limited to the damage caused by minors and pets, which alone were material, this is not a laughing matter and causing 6 figure damage to someone else’s house is both morally and legally wrong,” Jason Giller told NBC.
