Senators Reportedly Had Classified Meeting on Navy UFO Sightings

Does anybody have a 20 on David Duchovny? According to CNN, several U.S. senators were briefed in a private meeting about unidentifed aircraft sightings by Navy pilots.

“If pilots at Oceana or elsewhere are reporting flight hazards that interfere with training or put them at risk, then Senator Warner wants answers. It doesn’t matter if it’s weather balloons, little green men, or something else entirely—we can’t ask our pilots to put their lives at risk unnecessarily,” said Democratic Virginia Sen. Mark Warner’s spokeswoman Rachel Cohen.
The Navy released a statement about the seeming uptick in UFO encounters, noting that there have been “a number of reports of unauthorized and/or unidentified aircraft entering various military-controlled ranges and designated air space in recent years.”
Donald Trump admitted he has also taken meetings on the sightings, but downplayed talk of aliens. “People are saying they’re seeing UFOs,” he told ABC. “Do I believe it? Not particularly.”
The notion of secret meetings about possible aliens kicked a hornet’s nest of conspiracy theorists and memers on Twitter.
