Stream Dreamville’s ‘Revenge of the Dreamers III’ Compilation Album

The third installment of Dreamville‘s Revenge of the Dreamers series is here.
The compilation album was announced back in January, when the imprint’s co-founder J. Cole posted an invitation to its recording session in Atlanta. Over the span of 10 days, big-name hip-hop figures joined the Dreamville team to create the much-anticipated project. Artists like Ty Dolla Sign, T.I., Rick Ross, and Wale were just some of the artists who attended the session, which was documented in the newly released Revenge documentary.
“I’m really proud of everybody involved in this, especially on the Dreamville artist side,” Cole said in the film. “I’m happy for all these producers and artists who have never had an experience like this. I’ve never had an experience like this, and I’ve been in this shit 10 years. I know for them, sometimes it’s easy to lose hope as an artist or producer in this game. I feel like, honestly, more things like this would do so much for music, period. Because the real life blood of music is these unheard producers who are bubbling and working hard and not getting no recognition.”
Revenge of the Dreamers III includes the previously released cuts “Down Bad” (J.I.D, Cole, Bas, EarthGang, and Young Nudy), “Got Me” (Ari Lennox, Omen, Ty Dolla Sign, and Dreezy), “LamboTruck” (Cozz, Reason, and Childish Major), and “Costa Rica” (Bas, J.I.D, Guapdad 4000, Reese Laflare, Jace, Mez, Smokepurpp, Buddy, and Ski Mask the Slump God). It also sounds like Kendrick Lamar made an uncredited appearance on the project’s first track, “Under the Sun.” The song features Cole, DaBaby, and Lute.
You can stream the album now on Apple Music and via Spotify.
Cole took to Twitter shortly before the drop of the project to share a few words. “Thank you to Every artist on Dreamville for allowing me to be a part of your journey and in turn inspiring me and making me proud constantly,” he wrote. “I’m proud of y’all for this album.”
Revenge album dropping 2nite. Know that this album represents community and the unheard unsung artist that fight and bleed daily to be felt. There will be someone you never heard of on this album. Look them up and support them if they resonate with you. A follow goes a long way.

Same goes for the producers that go unheard and make beats all day every day hoping to cut through. To the producers and artists that came through but didn’t make the album, you are there in spirit. Thank you for your presence, the energy of those sessions was the most magical.
