Earlier this year Logic delivered his fifth studio album, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. The record saw the rapper collaborate with the likes of Eminem, Gucci Mane, G-Eazy, Will Smith, YBN Cordae, and Wiz Khalifa. He’s already released videos for the title track and the Eminem-featuring “Homicide,” but now he’s back with a light-hearted visual for his Gucci collab, “Icy.”
The video starts with a brief animated sketch before going into the song proper, transitioning into a stark combination of black-and-white shots and a colorful, iced-out Logic. Gucci Mane also appears to host Icy Class 101, teaching his pupils how to be as icy as possible. It’s a fun treatment for the catchy track, ending with Logic the victim of a robbery. Just like the video for “Homicide,” the “Icy” visuals make sure to poke a little fun at Logic’s public persona.
In a message to his fans on Instagram, Logic revealed in July that he has a new joint venture with Def Jam Recordings for a label of his own called BobbyBoy Records. John Lindahl, who has contributed to numerous projects of Logic’s, was among the first signees to the new imprint. He recently shared his song “All Day,” which can be heard with its video below.
Recently it was reported that Logic took out a marriage license with his fiancé Brittney Noell. Last year he seperated from his wife Jessica Andrea, who he married in 2015. Logic first met Brittney Noell in early 2018, although they have kept their relationship relatively private ever since. He took her on a private jet for a concert in Las Vegas last April following his split from Andrea in March. Him and Andrea finalized their divorce later that year in September.
