Premiere: Mr. Eazi Reunites With Nigerian Afro-Pop Singer-Songwriter Simi For “Doyin”

Last year, Mr. Eazi‘s Life Is Eazi, Vol. 2 – Lagos To London dropped to critical and commercial acclaim. The 15-track collection arrived at the perfect moment as the UK’s love affair with Afrobeats reached fever pitch and used appearances from UK stars like Giggs, Lotto Boyzz and Sneakbo to maximise effect.
One of the other collaborations on the project, and possibly one of the best on the album, was “Surrender” with Nigerian Afro-pop singer-songwriter Simi. Now the pair have reunited once more for a late entry for your summer playlists, “Doyin” (meaning sweet or beautiful). Produced by emPawa Africa Affiliated producer Killertunes, the slow-burning new song and its equally sunny video from Manuel Concha sees Eazi and Simi relaxing in warmer climes as they each urge a nameless lover not to play games with them.
