Odell Beckham Jr. Warms Up for Jets Game While Wearing Another Expensive Watch

Prior to Monday night’s game between the Browns and Jets, Odell Beckham Jr. was spotted (once again) with what appears to be a very expensive watch on his left wrist:
According to Cleveland.com, the timepiece is not the same nearly $200,000 one that caused a stir in the Browns’ Week 1 beatdown at the hands of the Titans. Instead this one is acrylic with silver accents, and also appears to be a super pricey Richard Mille. WKYC reports that the watch looks like a RM 56-02 Tourbillon Sapphire and is worth around $2 million.

It’s not clear if Beckham intends to wear it, in violation of league rules, during the actual game. But, if he does, we’ll let you know.
#Browns Odell Beckham Jr said he wants it to about football, not the watch. Says if it was anyone else it wouldn’t have been an issue. If $20 watch, not an issue. Plans to wear it again

After Beckham sported a watch during Week 1, NFL insider Ian Rapoport relayed that the fashion accessory had violated an NFL rule prohibiting hard objects. Rapoport further explained that the league would address the issue with Beckham and the Browns, but that it probably wouldn’t go beyond that.
An NFL spokesperson further clarified that the ban on such objects is a safety issue. “There’s a long-standing policy that prohibits projecting objects such as this from being worn in games,” that spokesperson said. “It is a player safety matter for both the player wearing the item and other players. The matter will be addressed with the team and the player.”
Just a few days after Cleveland’s Week 1 drubbing, Beckham indicated that he would indeed don another one in the future:
At that time he also said he hadn’t heard anything from the league:
