Baker Mayfield Shades Antonio Brown After Being Criticized by Fan

Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield took the time to respond to a comment that compared him to former Patriots wide receiver Antonio Brown after being criticized by a fan on Instagram.
It all started after Mayfield made a post to the social media platform. “Just some undersized Walk On… Keep that same energy,” he wrote.
A fan took issue with Mayfield’s post and told the quarterback to focus on winning. “Win football games. That speaks louder than these AB’ish style posts…” they wrote.
Mayfield caught wind of the comment and decided to respond.
“You’re right… let me call out my teammates and throw a fit about my helmet then go freeze my feet off,” Mayfield replied.
Brown, of course, has had a hectic past few weeks. He was released from the Raiders and signed a one-year deal with the New England patriots. Just a few days later, news that the wide receiver was accused of sexual assault and misconduct by two women surfaced. He was later released by the Patriots after threatening text messages he allegedly sent to his second accuser were shared with the media.
Speaking of trading barbs on social media, which Brown has yet to do with Mayfield over his comments, the wide receiver recently got into it with L.A. Rams safety Eric Weddle.
On the flipside, Mayfield and the Browns have been struggling on the field. They’ve lost two games since the start of the season and only have one win.
