After marking his return from prison with a stunning Daily Duppy in April, J Hus is now officially back with his first proper release of the year.
“Must Be” is built around production from his long-time collaborator JAE5, tapping into the magic the pair created on Common Sense. Dripping in the laid-back swagger that made their creations so unstoppably popular in the first place, Hustla gracefully rides the sax-led, jazz-meets-Afrobeats backdrop with a style the British music scene has most definitely missed.
We’re just about ready for a new J Hus project, but for now, put “Must Be” on loop.
