French Montana was rushed to the hospital Thursday afternoon after receiving an “unexpected visit” from law enforcement.
Sources tell TMZ officers arrived at the rapper’s Calabasas home at around 1 p.m., shortly after receiving reports about a possible robbery. Though authorities determined it was a “false alarm,” they reportedly noticed French behaving abnormally—so much so they decided to alert medical personnel. He was ultimately transported the hospital by ambulance.
According to insiders, the 35-year-old rapper had been experiencing nausea, severe stomach pains, and an elevated heart rate. The cause of French’s ailments has not been confirmed, but sources point out he has been doing a lot of traveling around the world in recent weeks—primarily in Europe and the Middle East. Some suspect French may have been exposed to contaminated food.
The Coke Boys artist is reportedly receiving treatment at a San Fernando Valley hospital. French, who is said to be “alert,” is expected to be released by the end of the day.
Stay tuned for further developments.
French is expected to drop his third studio album, Montana, sometime this month. He recently took to Twitter announcing the Harry Fraud-produced project was finally finished, but he has yet to confirm a release date.
