Kemba Walker appeared to suffer a neck injury during the second quarter of the Celtics’ game against the Nuggets. The guard was going after a deflection when he ran into his teammate Semi Ojeleye’s torso. He immediately fell down and laid motionless for several minutes.
He was taken off the hardwood via stretcher after medics took precautions for a possible neck injury. Walker had been the Celtics’ leading scorer in his first season in Boston.
