Jocelyn Savage’s Parents Threaten Legal Action Against Blogger Tasha K

Written by on December 1, 2019

The parents of Joycelyn Savage have issued a warning to Tasha K.

According to a cease-and-desist letter obtained by TMZ, Timothy and Jonjelyn Savage are accusing the popular blogger of using her platform “to make a series of unwarranted and defamatory attacks against them”; these attacks include allegations of drug use as well as creating social media accounts  in an attempt to profit off their daughter, who is most known for her relationship with accused sexual predator R. Kelly.

From the letter dated Nov. 27:

Examples included but are not limited to:

  • Allegations of drug abuse
  • Allegations of creating a social media account to profit off of Joycelyn Savage’s likeness and images
  • Allegations of possession of a black box full of audio recordings
  • Releasing clips of edited recorded statements
  • Alleging that the Savages appeared on Good Morning America in New York, New York

Tasha K has accused the Savages of creating a Patreon account that was purportedly owned by their daughter. The account in question was promoted on Jocelyn’s unverified Instagram page last week. The post suggested the 24-year-old was going to reveal damning information about Kelly, whom she had publicly supported throughout the past couple of years.

“There’s something I need to reveal, something I’ve [sic] should’ve talked about a long time ago,” the text image read. “This is my story!”

This was followed by another post that included the URL to Jocelyn’s supposed Patreon page, where people could see her content with a paid subscription.

Patreon has since removed the account, claiming they were unable to verify the identity of the owner.

“After multiple unsuccessful attempts to verify the identity of the account holder, we closed the Patreon page allegedly associated with Joycelyn Savage due to potential impersonation,” the company said. “All patrons who signed up for the membership page were refunded and the creator did not receive any funds.”

This, of course, fueled rumors that it was Jocelyn’s parents who were actually behind the account—rumors the parents have denied.
