Under Armour Embiid 1 Possible First Look

After signing Joel Embiid in late 2018, Under Armour officially announced the big man’s first signature sneaker today.
Billed as a “positionless” shoe which can be worn by players of all sizes and play styles, the Embiid 1 is set for a Fall 2020 release. The launch is set to kick off with the Embiid 1 “Origin,” which will then be followed by more colorways tied to Embiid’s career throughout the 2020-21 NBA season.
While additional details are currently unavailable, a possible first look has surfaced on social media courtesy of ayanamy001. The images show a red and black mid-cut model with support wings integrated into the lacing across the lateral and medial sides. A floral print covers the liner of this colorway, while a potential new logo for Embiid appears on the tongue.
