Here’s How NFL Fans Are Reacting to Chiefs and 49ers Making the Super Bowl

For the first time in 50 years, the Kansas City Chiefs have advanced to the Super Bowl. When they make their trek to Miami, Patrick Mahomes and his squad will square off against Jimmy Garoppolo and the San Francisco 49ers in what is expected to be a tightly contested matchup.
The Chiefs plowed through their conference en route to a decisive win against the Tennessee Titans in the AFC title game. As expected, the Titans were able to slow down the game with the run, but the weapons on Kansas City’s side were too much for Tennessee to handle. Now, the Chiefs are in the position to win coach Andy Reid his first Super Bowl ring.
Meanwhile in the NFC, the Green Bay Packers launched a bit of a comeback, but the 49ers won the NFC championship by a score of 37-20. Though it robbed fans of a chance to see Mahomes face off against Aaron Rodgers, the mere thought of watching two young quarterbacks battle for NFL supremacy is juicy as hell.
Here’s how fans and players are reacting to the Chiefs and Niners’ respective victories, and the epic matchup that’s set to unfold in Miami in two weeks.
